Fish Tales™
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fish Tales™ mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App"), operated by ClearCrest Logic, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Plain English summary: Fish Tales™ is a fishing catch logging app. Use it to log your catches, track your history, and share with friends. Use it honestly and for its intended purpose. Your data belongs to you. We are not responsible for how you use information you find in the app.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Fish Tales™. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement, or that you have obtained parental or guardian consent if you are between 13 and 18 years old.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you. By allowing a minor to use the App, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the minor's behalf and accepts responsibility for the minor's use of the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it current. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at the address listed at the bottom of these Terms.
Fish Tales™ allows you to upload photos, enter catch data, and share information with connected friends. You retain full ownership of all content you create and upload ("Your Content").
By uploading content to Fish Tales™, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate the App and provide its features to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it for any commercial purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of Your Content. You represent that:
Fish Tales™ is intended to be used as a personal fishing catch log and social sharing tool. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Fish Tales™ includes features that allow you to connect with other users and share catch information. These connections are initiated voluntarily by you. You control who you connect with and what catch details you share.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users within the App. If you experience harassment or inappropriate behavior from another user, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
You acknowledge that content you share with friends may be seen by those friends even if you later delete that catch from your own history.
Fish Tales™ offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The Pro subscription unlocks additional features including full catch history, up to 10 photos per catch, CSV export, full Reel Stats history, and the date range filter on Trophy Wall.
Subscription pricing is displayed within the App at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through the applicable app store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play). All billing and payment processing is handled by Apple or Google, subject to their respective terms.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law or app store policy.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice provided within the App.
Free users may log unlimited catches and access all core logging features. Catches older than 90 days are archived (hidden from view) but catch data is never deleted due to plan status. Catch photos uploaded by free users are stored for one year from the date of upload, after which they are permanently deleted from our storage system. Upgrading to Pro restores your full catch history instantly and keeps all photos stored permanently for as long as your subscription is active.
Users who downgrade from a Pro subscription will have their feed immediately revert to the standard 90-day visibility window. A 30-day grace period is provided during which photos remain protected in storage. If Pro is renewed within the grace period, full history and all photos are restored with nothing deleted. After the grace period expires, the free tier photo retention policy applies.
All elements of the Fish Tales™ App that are not Your Content — including the app design, interface, branding, name, logo, code, and features — are the property of ClearCrest Logic, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Fish Tales™ is a trademark of ClearCrest Logic, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ANY CATCH DATA, ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION, OR OTHER CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE APP. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
Fish Tales™ is a personal logging tool. We make no representations about fishing conditions, fish locations, regulations, or outcomes. Always follow applicable fishing laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your fishing activities.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLEARCREST LOGIC, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClearCrest Logic, LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data from our systems, including your profile, all catches, all photos, and all friend connections. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. In cases of termination for cause, we may delete your content without prior notice.
We aim to keep Fish Tales™ available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service interruptions.
If you download Fish Tales™ through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you within the App for significant changes. Your continued use of Fish Tales™ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
