Free plan photos are stored for one year from the date of upload. Pro subscribers keep their photos for as long as their subscription is active. If you cancel Pro, you have a 30-day grace period before any photos are affected — and if you renew within that window, nothing is lost.
Yes — Fish Tales™ includes an optional setting to automatically save every catch photo to your phone's native photo gallery at the time of upload. It's off by default but easy to turn on in Settings. Either way, your photos are always yours. You never have to choose between the app and your photo gallery.
